THE RYZE2FLYE JOURNEY

RYZE2FLYE was born from a simple but radical belief: “people don’t rise because someone saves them — they rise because someone sees them” — Zilzah F. Trotter-RYZE2FLYE Founder.

Our founder understood this truth not from textbooks or boardrooms, but from lived experience — from navigating systems that were never designed to heal, from rebuilding after setbacks that would have broken most, and from witnessing firsthand how many brilliant, capable people fall through the cracks simply because no one ever handed them a blueprint for elevation.

RYZE2FLYE began as a vision to change that notion.

What started as one person’s determination to rewrite their own narrative grew into a movement committed to helping others do the same. We saw the gaps — in reentry, in community support, in emotional development, in economic opportunity — and we moved to fill those gaps with a purpose.

But there was another gap, one that most organizations overlook:
the gap between the community and the corporations that sit right in the heart of it.

CARES

We believed that transformation doesn’t happen in isolation — it happens in relationship. And so the CARES model was born:
Collaborative Aligned Relationships Empower Success.

CARES is more than an acronym. It’s a philosophy. A blueprint. A bridge. It’s the belief that businesses and communities don’t have to exist in separate worlds — that when you bring the people to the business and the business to the people, something powerful happens.
Not charity. Not transactions. But collaboration.

Through CARES, RYZE2FLYE built partnerships with companies like Walmart, PNC, and Home Depot — not just to receive support, but to create a mutually beneficial ecosystem where corporations invest in the community, and the community strengthens the corporations that serve them.
It’s a relationship beyond consumer and producer — it’s shared value, shared humanity, and shared success.

As CARES grew, so did our mission.

From that foundation came STAT — the Stabilize Teach & Transition initiative — our flagship model that blends lifestyle redirection, emotional intelligence, workforce readiness, and real‑world support into a five‑week journey that changes lives. STAT is not a class. It’s not another mere program. It’s a reset — a structured, intentional, community‑rooted pathway back to self, stability, and success.

And as STAT expanded, so did our reach: trauma‑responsive coaching, financial empowerment, employment pathways, and our Inside/Out pipeline that prepares individuals for success before they return home.

Today, RYZE2FLYE stands as a reentry‑focused, community‑anchored organization that believes in second chances, third chances, and the power of human potential. We are builders of belonging. Restorers of dignity. Architects of opportunity. And through CARES, we are connectors — aligning people, businesses, and communities in ways that uplift everyone involved.

But at our core, we are still what we were on day one:
A movement of people who believe that no one is too broken to rebuild, no story is too heavy to rewrite, and no life is beyond rising.
