S.T.A.T.
Stabilize Teach & Transition (S.T.A.T.) is the flagship service of the RYZE 2 FLYE community outreach initiative and is centered around a five-week workshop that focuses on two key components: “Lifestyle Redirection and Job Readiness Training”. The two-component learning platform of S.T.A.T. is designed to provide an opportunity to acquire essential life skills. Newly acquired life skills lay the foundation to increase the opportunity to:
- Embrace a new lifestyle that yields a brighter future.
- Add value and self-worth to a person’s overall sense of well-being.
- Emerge from the hardships of life that are induced by violence and poverty.
- Enter a competitive marketplace, and broaden one’s financial outlook. The S.T.A.T. Program Initiative also provides a stipend to each participant throughout the five-week workshop. The concept behind providing a stipend for S.T.A.T. participants are two-fold; one being the assistance of providing a modest income to stabilize the individual’s livelihood while undergoing a dramatic lifestyle redirection. The second being an opportunity to be instructed on financial literacy on how to manage money.
S.t.a.t. stipend:
- The daily issuance of a single bus pass or train ticket to participants who need public transportation to commute to and f rom their residence to the RYZE 2 FLYE facility.
- A single $50 gas card per week for licensed driving participants who need assistance commuting to and from the RYZE 2 FLYE facility.
- $500.00 per week (at a mandatory requirement of 7 hours per day) to attend and successfully participate in the five-week workshop.
